COVID-19 Recommendations
Because the health of each of our patients is important, as well as that of our team, we ask that you respect the distancing rules recommended by health officials. Wearing a mask inside the Clinic is mandatory and the secretaries may ask you to change your mask upon entry. It is important to follow the recommenda-tions according to the level of alert in our region.
Designated Assessment Clinics (DACs) will close their doors by September 2021. It will now be possible to test for flu-like symp-toms at the Sainte-Adèle Medical Clinic. We may ask you to wait outside the Clinic to avoid the transmission of viral infection in-side the waiting room.
About the Sainte-Adèle Medical Clinic
The Clinic originally opened in 1977. Thanks to the Laurentian Medical Foundation, the Clinic was saved from an impending closure due to a lack of new doctors. It was taken over by McGill graduate doctors in March 2020 with the aim of offering walk-in services to residents of the Laurentians as well as multidiscipli-nary services with other health professionals (social worker, nutritionist, etc.). Since May 2021, the Sainte-Adèle Medical Clin-ic has served as an FMG (family medicine group) and continues to grow.
The Clinic’s philosophy is based on disease prevention and screening for health issues. Sharing medical knowledge with the public is an essential part of our philosophy for improving health care.
