About the Sainte‑Adèle Medical Clinic

The Clinic originally opened in 1977. Thanks to the Laurentian Medical Foundation, the Clinic was saved from an impending closure due to a lack of new doctors. It was taken over by McGill graduate doctors in March 2020 with the aim of offering walk-in services to residents of the Laurentians as well as multidiscipli-nary services with other health professionals (social worker, nutritionist, etc.). The Sainte-Adèle Medical Clinic has served as a FMG (family medicine group) since May 2021 and continues to grow.

The Clinic’s philosophy is based on disease prevention and screening for health issues. With the objective of ensuring ac-cess to medical care at all times, the Clinic has set up a walk-in clinic to avoid emergencies.
